Food safety has come under intense scrutiny this week after the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) reported a series of raids in Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan.
Through several posts on its official Instagram account, the food regulator revealed that large quantities of adulterated paneer, khoya and expired packaged food products were seized and destroyed in the run-up to Holi.
