AR recovers textile items worth Rs 1.74 cr
Imphal, June 26 2021: Tengnoupal Battalion of IGAR (South) foiled cross border smuggling near Khudengthabi in Tengnoupal district on Saturday.
According to PRO IGAR (S), a search operation was launched based on specific input on cross border smuggling near Pineapple Farm area.
During the operation, the troops observed two vehicles plying on a jungle track. On seeing the troops, the drivers abandoned the vehicles and fled into the dense forest.
