
High cost of buying fake goods
Ramaru said counterfeiting was a problem in South Africa and the rest of the world, and seen as a major crime by international police.
Between 5 and 7 percent of the world’s turnover comes from counterfeiting, said the World Counterfeiting Organisation, and the damage is not only financial.
