Seminar on Strengthening Security: Strategies to Combat Counterfeiting and Smuggling

These illicit practices distort fair competition, drain government revenues, and compromise consumer trust. Recognising the gravity of the issue, FICCI CASCADE underscores the need for continuous awareness, informed dialogue, and coordinated action to effectively combat these challenges and safeguard national interests
In pursuit of this mission, FICCI CASCADE is organising a seminar on the theme “Strengthening Security: Strategies to Combat Counterfeiting and Smuggling” on 13th November 2025 at The Park Hotel, Kolkata. The seminar will serve as a collaborative platform bringing together policymakers, enforcement agencies, industry leaders, legal experts, and consumer representatives. Discussions will focus on the economic, social, and health implications of illicit trade, while also exploring innovative solutions, capacity-building measures, and policy interventions to strengthen enforcement and compliance.
