The Surat police have taken strict action against people selling duplicate products in the name of branded companies.

Acting on specific inputs, teams from Zone-1 LCB and Sarthana police raided a warehouse in the Sarthana area and seized counterfeit spare parts of well-known automobile brands. 

Goods worth ₹18.77 lakh were recovered and three persons were arrested. Police said the illegal trade had been operating for the last eight years.
