The Maharashtra State Excise Department has seized foreign liquor worth approximately ₹13 lakh in Panvel. The consignment, allegedly transported from Goa, was cleverly concealed beneath vehicle spare parts.
Officials said the seized liquor included eight premium foreign brands. Acting on a tip-off, the team intercepted the vehicle and uncovered the illegal consignment during inspection. Further investigation is underway to trace the source and destination of the illicit cargo.
