
Fake currency seized, 3 held
The police have arrested two persons in Hanumangarh and one in Sriganganagar and seized fake currency worth Rs 84,200. Apart from these, two suspicious persons have also been arrested. From both the places, the police have recovered high quality colour printers, scanners, super quality white paper and other material being used in preparing fake notes.
Fake notes were being prepared at these locations for the past two months. Hanumangarh Superintendent of Police Preeti Jain said Kuldeep Singh of Amarpura Jalukhat and Shiv Prakash of Shahpini Sangria were arrested and the police seized fake notes worth Rs 84,200 from their possession.
