What a massive coup. Police have nabbed counterfeit goods with a staggering value of R1bn at the Durban harbour.
As confirmed by the KwaZulu-Natal Premier Sihle Zikalala, the illegal act was in operation for a full year.
The seizing of counterfeit goods worth R1 bn was captured on a video that quickly went viral on social media.
Police officers are seen at the Bayhead Port Terminal where a large container is opened to reveal the illegal cargo.
The officers are heard confirming that the first box from the Counterfeit goods at the Durban harbour carried perfumes.
