Tanzania: Let Us Be On the Alert Against Fake Goods
It has come to light that the Tanzania Food and Drug Authority (TFDA) has destroyed 884 kilos of counterfeit and substandard products valued at 171m/- after a sustained surveillance that has been carried out in the last six months.
In Tanzania, the issue of rampant fake goods is a recent phenomenon. To a larger extend the public is not knowledgeable over counterfeit products.
