Illicit trade in terms of counterfeiting and smuggling make up a vast ‘global businesses’, representing a multibillion-dollar illegal industry that creates a significant drain on the world economy. FICCI’s Committee Against Smuggling and Counterfeiting Activities Destroying the Economy (CASCADE) is organizing a series of virtual interactions with esteemed guests who have the knowledge and expertise on various topics pertaining to the subject of illicit trade.

The session will throw light on cross-border trafficking of goods and products, initiatives taken by WCO to arrest this problem and the need for effective collaborations in mitigating this challenge.
